Sogndal Upper Secondary School (VGS) is situated at Fosshaugane in Sogndal and has about 130 employees and ca 700 students aged 15-19 in the following branches of study:

• Service and Transport
• Building and Construction
• Electro
• Technique and Industrial Production

In addition to this, Sogndal VGS can provide various courses for adult learners in computers, fork-lift truck certificate and different categories of certificates for heavy vehicles.

The school also runs Vocational courses to qualify drivers of heavy vehicles, buses and trailers at Kaupanger, 15 minutes from the town centre.
